Fundraising Film

Thu, 28/02/2019 - 10:30am to 1:00pm

Keira Knightley is the star of our SWH Warrnambool Auxiliary’s first Coffee & Film Morning screening for 2019.

After marrying a successful Parisian writer, Colette (Keira) is transplanted from her childhood home in rural France to the intellectual and artistic splendour of Paris. Soon after, her husband Willy (Dominic West) convinces her to ghost-write for him. She pens a semi-autobiographical novel about a witty and brazen country girl named Claudine, sparking a bestseller and cultural sensation. After its success, Colette’s fight over creative ownership drives her to overcome societal constraints, revolutionising literature, fashion and sexual expression.

Morning tea’s served at 10.30am and the film starts at 11. It runs for 111 minutes and will screen in a downstairs cinema. Tickets are $20. To book yours please call Margot on 0455 029 125. Funds raised will help purchase medical equipment for our Warrnambool Base Hospital
